This short online course, offered under the EU-funded Erasmus+ RAPID project, is designed to strengthen the capacity of faculty members at the University of Balochistan, University of Baltistan, and University of Turbat in delivering effective online education. The course places online teaching and learning at its core, focusing on pedagogical strategies, digital platforms, and practical tools required for high-quality virtual instruction.
Building on this foundation, the course introduces recent developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI, as transformative technologies that are reshaping online education. Participants will explore how AI can enhance teaching, assessment, student engagement, and course management while also reflecting on associated challenges such as academic integrity and ethical considerations.
The course is delivered collaboratively by Sukkur IBA University, IBA Karachi, and LUMS, combining hands-on training with forward-looking discussions on the future of digital education.
